Ethan Funk-Breay

@ethernet97

A graphic design major from the University of Northern Colorado, Funk-Breay is an illustrator who originally wanted to be a comic book artist. He started his film career at his university’s film club continuing to incorporate his artistry in directing, posters, and concept art. When he’s not drinking coffee, he’s probably doodling something on whatever piece of paper he can find.

In the BEGINNING…

Three friends from Colorado had an insane dream of pursuing the art of filmmaking. With their combined experience, they came together and created Funky Carrot, which they figured was a funny enough sounding name to turn some heads.

The projects that started the crew off were The Professionals and Darling + Ahab, with only more ideas on the drawing table to grow and explore.

In their journey, the crew of Funky Carrot found the value of collaboration and patience for all projects in filmmaking and all work worth doing. Art takes time, so be patient. It’ll be worth it.
